Current owner has had this nice gelding for the past 4yrs. He stands 15.1 and has been over the big hills and knows what a full days work is. He has doctored yearlings in the pasture and drug a lot of calves at brandings. He is tough and can take a lot of miles, but he does require an experienced rider as he can be tight when you cinch him up, just do not cut him in two and he will walk off just fine. "Coon" stands between 15 and 15.1 hands tall. He is good to darg calves on at brandings, he will run right to the hip out in the open, and is started on the heading side. The current owner owned this gelding over 8 years ago and recently accuired him back. The past owner was a novice rider and allowed "Coon" to develop a few bad habits such as,whinnying,and buddying up when fresh. "Sadie" is a big stout mare, she is gentle to be around, good for the farrier, she has only had shoes on the front (never has had backfeet shoed). " Sadie" has done all aspects of ranch work. She is hard footed, big boned, ad has the stamina to work all day long. No Buck, but needs cinched up slowly. This horse sells with the Green Light!
