Cute Lil Playgun is the granddaughter of PG Shogun. The dam is 15.2 hands, built big and thick, and came from Haythorn Land and Cattle Ranch in Nebraska. Playgun is one of the most famous quarter-horse bloodlines. This filly has a gentle disposition and is curious about the world around her.  She will be big-boned and muscled.  This mare produces colts that are smart and athletic. 8yr old, AQHA, gelding, that is gentle enough for a kid to ride or take him and rope on him! Owners have used him in all aspects of ranch work and started heading on him. He has also been used to give riding lessons. Chrome has been our go to horse when we need to get the job done or if needed a trusted horse for a beginner/kid. You can use him every day or turn him out for an extended period, he is always the same! He can be ridden in a halter or bit, you can trust him to get the job done! He sells with the green light!

2016 Grey Mare

Rizzo is an 8 year old, gorgeous grey mare by "Guys Piece of the Pie".  15 plus hands, nice big feet and great bone.  She does have a cosmetic scar on right hind leg but it does not bother her. Has moved cattle in the mountains, spent 2 months on a big ranch in Wyoning this summer, dragging calves to the fire, doctoring, and sorting.  She is started on barrels and poles but doesn’t seem to have an interest in going fast.  She is an excellent trail horse, rides off alone or in a group, crosses water, goes up and down steep trails.  Well broke with a great stop.  Rizzo loves kids, but not selling as a dog gentle kids horse, needs an experienced kid rider with supervision. "Heff" was home raised in South Dakota and grew up in some rugged terrain. This horse is so tough and has seen and done about every job under the sun! He has dragged hundreds of calves to the fire, and sorted and gathered anything & everything. He is one of the bravest in the barn and always ready to do any job. If you dally off, he will pull it, no matter the size. 
"Heff" will one-handed neck rein, get any gate, roll back, and stop. He has a smooth ground covering walk/trot/lope and is always sound and stays that way. Good for the farrier, loads himself, stands tied or hobbled, and is an easy keeper. He is easy to catch and loves attention!
He has been in parades, carried flags, been used in ranch rodeos, and has heeled a few steers out of the box. He has a big motor and speed on him when asked. "Heff" is gentle and safe for anyone! Jack, is a 10 year old grade gelding that stands at 16.1 hands. He has good bone, feet and muscle, has a good handle on him. "Jack" has been rode on the ranch, goes the direction you point him, and pays attention to cattle. He has been roped off of some at the feedlot but wasn't rode in the ground there. He loads good, hauls good, and stands tied. He does have an old scar on his eye, but it doesn't bother him at all. He walks out well and stands good for farrier and sells with the Green Light!

"Big Foot" has seen all aspects of ranch work and is as solid as they come. He is 12 years old, 100% sound with little to no maintenance. You can let him go for months and then saddle up and go. He has no vices at all but he is not recommended as a kid horse. He sells with the Green Light!

"MARTHASMOJO"
2019 Sorrel Gelding

MARTHASMOJO is a 5 year old gelding standing at 15.1 hands. He has been used on the ranch but mainly in the arena. No buck, kick or bite and gentle to be around.  Will side pass to a gate and knows his leads. Has been on the Cowtrack very little but shows a lot of promise. Has drug calves to the fire and helped calve out 300 head of heifers. Really likes to walk out and will cover some ground. Started out of the box on the heading side and has roped the hot heels. Really likes to stop and can run up on a steer quickly. This gelding can really go any direction. Would be an awesome barrel horse if someone is wanting a broke horse to start in that!

"SANDYS BIT O FORTUNE"
2019 APHA Gelding

Charlie is a 5 yr old APHA gelding that stands right at 16 hands and has been used in all aspects of ranch and feedlot work.  He has a big motor and can cover a lot of ground.  He's roped and doctored cattle on him and has roped calves at brandings.  He will watch cattle and has been started patterning on barrels.  He does have a lot of go and would be best suited for an experienced rider.   He is ready for someone to take and finish in any direction they wish. He sells with the green light!

12 year old Brown Gelding

Moca is a 12 year old 15.h been there done that, born and raised ranch gelding. With his cute head, nice hip, and one-handed neck rein he's as much a pleasure to look at as he is to ride. Moca has seen all aspects of ranch work, drags calves, rides out alone with a ground covering walk. Gentle to be around, patient, and will ride off the same no matter how long he sits. Moca has been ridden through town, carried flags, and has been used for playdays, runs the barrel pattern, flags, and started on poles. He is as sure-footed as it gets and is used to the Badlands, Black Hills, and rough terrain. Absolutely no buck, 100% sound side passes, gets gates, and is easy to handle. Stands tied, wears blankets, loads, and takes baths. Moca has a really nice stop and collected backup, but he is a very fast horse, and will go when asked, not hot, just fast! He would be best suited for someone with confidence.  He stands great for the farrier, and is really easy to catch. Rides double and bare back and gets along great with others. UTD on shots and worming. He sells with the Green Light!

Marty is a grade, 4 year old, red dun gelding. He is a stout draft cross (Percheron Mare and QH Stud), but is very athletic. Marty has had 30-45 rides on him, mostly outside and has been ridden lots of miles. He has had a rope swung off him and is very smart and eager to please. 2007 Red Dun Mare

'Tari' was rode by the current owner's daughter through high school and college. She went through the horse training course at University of Nebraska-Curtis, learned to do flying lead changes, slow spins, drag logs, and move cattle. She is good for an experienced rider. The current owner's daughter now does not have enough time for her and wants her to go to a good home! 
If 'Tari' is left to sit for a long period of time she may need a day or two of riding to get back to being her usual laid back self. She can be bossy with young or timid horses but usually gets along great with others. She stands tied and is good for the farrier. 'Tari' sells with the Green Light!

"Hollywood" is a 12 year old gelding that has been used a lot on the ranch. He's drug calves to the fire, doctored yearlings outside, loaded yearlings in the trailer, and been rode in the feedlot. He is currently going good in the heading and is honest enough for a lower number header. He scores great, runs hard, and has a good rate. He rides great outside but is a little quieter in the arena. 

"Hollywood" has a big motor and if given a lot of time off he can get a little tight, but nothing ever comes of it. He can be watchy at times but he leads, loads, stands tied, and stands for the farrier. He has no kick and no bite but would still best suit experienced riders! He sells with the Green Light! "Tommy Boy" is a 5 year old Halflinger cross. He has been under saddle with a trainer for 90 days and is doing great! He will push cattle or go down the trail. The trainer has started to rope off him as well. He is shorter but is very strong and will go all day. He hauls great and will stand, tie, load, and lead like a gentleman. "Bertie" is a 8 yr old draft cross mare that stands 16.1 hands. She has good bone and muscle. The owner has been riding her off and on the feedlot the last couple years not to hard but enough to continue to advance her. She has a good handle and works gates and cattle well for her size. She has been roped on some at the feedlot and pulls well. "Bertie" walks out good and has some speed and stands tied. She can be a little quirky and fidgety so she is not for beginners. She sells with the Green Light!

“Peppy Sunny” is a sweet and gentle broodmare.  She is green broke and has the best disposition and wants to please. But had a small injury that the owners decided to just have her be a broodmare. Her sire “HUNTS LONESUM FROST” was a tri-state barrel racing champion. 
She is bred to Paul Tierney’s “DRIFTING FRENCH CASH” and is due to foal May 30, 2025. She is only being sold because her current owners are getting older. She will sell with the Green Light!

Bryan Dean's grandfather immigrated from Scotland and became a homesteader in Dawes County, Nebraska. When Crazy Horse surrendered to the United States government in 1877, he brought with him many horses. Horse breeders were allowed first selection of these horses so that they could supply mounts to the U.S. calvary, and Bryan’s grandfather was one of those breeders. He selected some of the finest war horses that were known to be easy keepers, didn’t require a lot of rest, and stayed in good shape.
When Bryan returned from service in the U.S. Army, he took on the family tradition of horse breeding. His father supplied him with horses from the bloodline of Crazy Horse’s stock. The story - and the horses - came full circle as Bryan is Kiyaska; a member of the Oglala Lakota, on his mother’s side he descends from the same band as Crazy Horse. Bryan began breeding the horses and doing rides as a safe haven for his people. These rides represent a rare, last vestige of the culture; a place for the Lakota people to function in the old ways as a tribe. 
The OLCERI horse program has branched into training programs, youth suicide prevention programs, as well as becoming a source of income for OLCERI.
