You MUST register with Gordon Livestock - CattleUSA/DVAuction the week prior to the sale. If you wish to bid over the phone you must contact GLM the week prior to the sale as well.
We can not do same day approvals.

To be approved to bid we do require a "Letter of Good Standing" from your bank. This letter states that you are a client and hold an account. This letter can be emailed to gordonlivestock1171@gmail.com. After we receive this letter we will assign you a bidder number and you will be ready to buy!

All in person buyers just have to stop in the GLM office and acquire a bidder number!

Our Sale Catalog will be available online and printed copies will be available at the sale barn. If you wish to receive a catalog via mail please fill out the contact information below and we will send you one.
Gordon Livestock Market is an Agent Only! All agreements are between the buyer and the seller. The buyer assumes full ownership of the animal(s) from the time it is sold in the sale ring and is responsible for proper feed & care. Gordon Livestock Market supplies clean pens, hay, and water for all animals during sale time.
Buyers, sellers, and spectators are cautioned to exercise care while attending the sale and entering the premises at their own risk. Gordon Livestock Market, the Committee: its principals, officers, agents, employees, and volunteers, and each and every landowner, municipal and/or government agency upon whose property this activity is conducted shall not be liable for injuries sustained by anyone attending the horse sale.

Terms of the sale are cash or personal check. Every animal is sold to the highest bidder, with the auctioneer settling any disputes as to bids. All horses are the buyer’s property as soon as they are sold.
If you wish to NO SALE your horse, you must let the Auctioneer know before you leave the sale ring. Announced changes in catalog information on sale day take precedence over printed catalog.
All cataloged horses will sell with 72 Hour soundness guarantee. Tuesday April at noon. Soundness guarantee consists of, Sight/vision in both eyes, can breathe clearly, hits sounds on all four limbs. Cribbing and cryptorchid is unsound. GLM does not guarantee ridability. GLM staff will be the final decision on if an animal is unsound.
All catalog horses must have a current Coggins Test & Health Inspection. All out-of-state horses coming from brand inspection areas MUST have a current brand inspection.
All horses advertised as AQHA Registered must have registration papers and a signed transfer paper on the day of sale. If the horse is sold as Registered and all paperwork is not in order at the time of the sale, the seller's check will be held until the paperwork is resolved for the buyer.
We encourage our customers to call the consignor as it is imperative to us to match the correct horse to the prospective buyer. If you receive phone calls, we ask that you do not accept any offers to sell privately, as your horses are consigned to our sale! We strongly urge buyers to thoroughly examine the animals that interest them. All sales are absolute and final. Animals are at the buyers' risk, expense, and responsibility from the time of purchase.
